Refresh Festival’s FAQs

  • Can I smoke on site? There is nowhere to smoke on site.
  • When is the festival open? Gates open at 10am both days. The Saturday ends at 7pm and the Sunday ends at 6pm.
  • Is there disabled access? Yes we can provide you full access to the festival and have designated car parking space, we have even installed a disabled viewing platform so you can enjoy the festival.
  • Can I bring glass bottles onto site? There is no glass allowed into the festival, any glass bought on site other than baby food will be confiscated and returned to its owner at the end of the day.
  • Can I bring my dog? As much as the whole Refresh team love dogs we can’t let you bring them on site.
  • Where is the nearest cash machine? We have installed cash machines on site for you to use.
  • Can I buy tickets on the gate? Yes you can, but buying them online will avoid queues at the box office. Please do not buy tickets from any other seller as these will be invalid.
  • Is car parking available? Car parking is on Wellington Country Park and is free to all vehicles, no broomsticks.
  • Can I bring alcohol on site? We are a completely alcohol free festival, so any alcohol will also be confiscated and we will do our best to return it to its owner at the end of the day.
  • Where can I get water? Refillable water bottles can be filled at our Water Monster water stations across the site.
  • Does Refresh have a recommended taxi company? 470470 are our recommended taxi company and you can get 10% off travel to and from the festival if heading around the Basingstoke or Reading area.
  • Can I bring food on site? You can bring any food you want on site so long as it is not in glass.
  • Can I have a fire? There are no fires allowed on site.
  • Where is the first aid point? The first aid point is next to the main stage.
  • What do I do if I’ve lost my family? We will have dedicated meet up point for people that have lost anyone. If you speak to a steward they will be able to help and give you advice.
  • How do I keep my things safe if I want to take part in a bootcamp? We recommend having your bag close by and leaving anything valuable at home. Festival thieves are becoming more prevalent and we don’t want you to lose anything.
  • How do I download my ticket? Eventbrite will email you a link to your ticket, if you have lost this then log in and redownload the ticket.
  • How to get to Refresh? Refresh is being held in Wellington Country Park, RG7 1SP. If you are coming from Reading or Basingstoke turn off the A33 where there will be brown signs directing you.
  • What happens if it’s raining? In extreme weather Refresh will be moved to another weekend if possible.
  • I forgot my refillable bottle can I get one at the festival? Yes we have branded bobble bottles being sold at the festival.
